Last week was a GREAT week for Marina Bay at the @thequincychamber Annual Showcase! We’d like to congratulate two of our members for their efforts. @marinastudios_boston Founder/CEO Marina Cappi was awarded the 1st Annual Phyllis Godwin Women in Business Award. This $7,500 grant is awarded to a woman-owned business in the name of the glass ceiling-shattering former CEO/Chair of Granite City Electric. Congratulations Marina! @breakrockbrewing was awarded the 5th Annual Bruce Wood Memorial Grant. This is a $5,000 grant awarded to a Quincy small business that exemplifies founding Quincy Chamber Board Member Bruce Wood’s business sense and commitment to the community he loved. Congratulations to Founder/President Jay Southwood and the team at Break Rock Brewing! The @mbbaquincy would like to congratulate these members, and all of the evening’s award recipients, on their well-earned recognition. The business community in Marina Bay, and in @cityofquincy as a whole, is dynamic, diverse, and crushing it! Great job by Chamber President Tim Cahill and all of the Quincy Chamber staff, as well as the team at @granitelinks for putting on a great event! 📸 by: @cjkeysphotos
