At last night’s Quincy Chamber of Commerce Annual Showcase City of Quincy Mayor Tom Koch shared an exciting update regarding this summer’s ferry schedule - WEEKEND FERRY SERVICE!
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority - MBTA has purchased a dedicated ferry for Quincy. It will run from 4/28 to 11/26, with stops at Seaport, Logan Airport, and Aquarium (Central Wharf). With the addition of a dedicated boat for Quincy, riders can expect increased trip frequency.
And for the first time, weekend service will also be available! We expect this to come online 5/24 and run until 10/12 on a triangular route for Quincy and Winthrop with stops at Seaport, Logan Airport, and Aquarium (Central Wharf).
We encourage the public to utilize this wonderful transportation option and help prove it is worth having in Marina Bay in the long term! We can envision a future with year-round service, including nights. We hope you can, too! ⛴

Tomorrow we LIGHT IT UP! Here are just a few of our favorite things/offers! Come support our boardwalk businesses in the off season. Many will be open all day with festive giveaways and offers!
And of course, we have Santa coming by boat at 5pm courtesy of @towboatusboston and @mayortomkoch here to lead a countdown to turn on the lights at 6pm! 🎄

We had pulled the plug on this event earlier this year 😢 but we are beyond thrilled and grateful to share that @cityofquincy and @mayortomkoch along with the @thequincychamber stepped up and in to ensure we could once again LIGHT IT UP for the holidays in Marina Bay! Who does the holidays better than Quincy? Nobody!
We will be turning on the lights Saturday November 30th. Join us for a festive celebration featuring Santa By Boat, the Grinch, business giveaways and deals, face painting, music, festive cocktails, and a lighting ceremony with the Mayor! 🎅 🎄 🌊
